Healthy Cheesecake Recipe

High Protein Chilled Quark Cheesecake. (A guilt free dessert!)

Makes 8 small cheesecakes.

Ingredients and Equipment:

  • 500g Fat Free Quark

  • 75g Margarine

  • 175g Oats

  • Flavour Choice

  • 8 Ramekins

  • Weighing scales

  • Bowl

Method:

  •  Melt the margarine in the microwave for 10 seconds. When melted, add it to the oats and mix together to make sure they stick. If it's not enough just melt more but don't go crazy! 😉

  • Press the oats into the bottom of all the ramekins evenly with a decent thickness.

  • Then place them in the oven for 5-10 minutes to soften the base.

  • When they have been baked slightly, leave them on the side to cool.

  • Next you need to put all the quark into a bowl. If it is a thinner version, then add some gelatine to help it set better. (instructions are on the powder packet)

  • Once that is done, if you are happy with the flavour then you can load up the ramekins! I not 2 options we have tried is adding vanilla extract (as much as you want) or the whole juice of a lemon with some grated lemon zest.

  • When you have loaded the ramekins up with the filling then put them in the fridge to chill for a minimum of 2 hours! Then enjoy!

Serving suggestion: I like to pair mine with a scoop of Halo Top ice cream! it's delicious and low calorie! or you could try some delicious fresh fruit! Either is a great pairing!

If you don't want to try it with this, then try using it as your replacement ice cream in general! completely guilt free 😋 Just remember to stick to the serving suggestion 😉
