Minerals! Do you know them?

There are 5 groups of minerals you can find in your food. But do you know them or what you can eat to get them? Find out Below!

Calcium - Milk, Cheese, Green leafy vegetables, Soya Beans, Tofu, Nuts and fortified bread.


Potassium - Bananas, Broccoli, Parsnips, Sprouts, Pulses, Nuts, Seeds, Beefs, Fish and Chicken.


Magnesium - Spinach, Nuts, Brown Rice, Wholegrains, Bread, Fish, Meat and Dairy.


Zinc - Meat, Shellfish, Dairy Foods, Bread, Cereals and Wheatgerm.


Iron - Liver, Meat, Beans, Nuts, Dried Fruit, Dark leafy vegetables and Wholegrains.


Minerals do not contain energy, but are an essential component of many energy related processes.
