For me, this was one of my biggest nutritional achievements! I only ate white bread and could not stomach the taste of wholemeal anything. Your tastebuds change all the time and you can like something one day but not the next (vice versa).
I've always found trying new foods a challenge, especially when I was younger. Changing to wholemeal was one of the best decisions I have ever made and I now find it delicious! I never thought I would see the day. Now I eat everything as wholemeal, even pancakes and muffins 😱 Maybe you will see one of our recipes one day😉
This has taken me years to achieve and I have only been eating it for maybe 4 years, if that! I didn't do anything in particular, just tried a sandwich from subway with the 9 grain wheat and thought it was delicious! I haven't gone back to white flour products since. So my advice would be to keep trying, even after such a long time like I have done, it's worth giving a go for a healthy change!
